Multi-Year IT & Infrastructure Service – University of Dhaka

Project Overview

Since 2021, MIS Solution has built an ongoing technology partnership with the University of Dhaka, the country's oldest and most prestigious public university. Rather than a single order, this has grown into a trusted, recurring vendor relationship spanning multiple faculties, institutes, departments and administrative offices — covering everything from everyday office IT to high-configuration research computing and facility upgrades.

Scope of Engagement, by Department

Office of the Dean (2023)

• 40 units of HP ProBook 450 G9 laptops (12th Gen Intel Core, 16GB DDR4 RAM) with 3-year warranty
• A full office technology package: laptops, laser-jet printers, photocopiers, TV monitors, paper shredders, genuine toner, all-in-one multiplugs, mobile chargers, offline UPS units, a refrigerator, a water purifier, and supporting IT consumables (RAM, SSDs, pendrives)

Department of Robotics & Mechatronics Engineering (2024 – 2025)

• 14 split-type and 2 cassette-type air coolers (General brand) with full accessories
• Desktop computers and accessories for departmental use
• High-configuration PCs for deep-learning research, 3 GPU-accelerated workstations, an interactive flat panel display, and an Android LED TV
• A software lab fit-out: 4 desktop PCs, a smart LCD display, and a 3D printer
• Supply and installation of a high-configuration GPU PC for deep-learning workloads

• A renovation package: air conditioning, Thai glass partitions, tempered-glass doors, false-ceiling work, and a new sofa set

• An RFID card-based access and membership system

• Desktop computers (12th Gen Intel Core i3) for research and administrative use

Department of Computer Science & Engineering (2024)

• Research-grade computing accessories, including high-configuration GPU units, plus full desktop setups for departmental use

Department of Applied Mathematics (2023)

• A high-performance branded desktop PC, a portable multimedia projector with tripod and screen, and supporting RAM and pendrives

Department of Fisheries (2022)

• 11 units of high-configuration desktop PCs built for research-intensive workloads, with full accessories

Institute of Information Sciences (2021)

• 23 units across desktop computers, a projector and screen, a webcam, and a full sound system, with supporting accessories

Project Impact

Across five years and nine faculties, departments and offices, MIS Solution's scope has ranged from laptop and desktop fleets to interior renovation, access control, and GPU-accelerated research computing — establishing MIS Solution as a dependable, long-term technology partner to one of Bangladesh's most important academic institutions.
